The two social networks are set to launch a new app called “riot” which will let you play multiplayer games on both platforms.
The new app will also allow you to log in to both Facebook and the new Reddit website.
Both apps will be built on the same platform, but will run on different platforms.
According to TechCrunch, “all of this will be happening in the same app, which will be called ‘riot.'”
The app will be powered by Facebook’s GraphQL and Reddit’s Elasticsearch technologies.
“Both are huge pieces of the puzzle that Facebook and reddit are using to make a massively scalable, scalable, and open platform for all sorts of data-intensive tasks,” Facebook’s Ben Wood, vice president of engineering for mobile and social, said in a statement.
“The future of the internet is a platform for everyone, not just the few.”
Facebook and Facebook will have a partnership with the Reddit team.
The announcement came at a company event in London on Thursday.
Facebook also announced the acquisition of two small data mining companies for $3.6 million.
“This is an important and significant step for Facebook in order to deliver the full value of our massive data sets and make them accessible to all,” Wood said.
The deal is expected to close in the first half of next year.
