Linux users looking to run a server on a Raspberry Pi can now get their hands on a fully functional community server.
This is due to Ubuntu 14 and 15 Linux Mint 17.04 releasing the first Ubuntu-based Raspberry Pi hardware-accelerated community server, according to an Ubuntu 14 wiki page.
This means that Ubuntu 14, 15, and 16 Linux Mint users are able to run Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS on a Ubuntu 14 or 15 Raspberry Pi, as well as Ubuntu Server 17.10.
This includes Ubuntu 14 with Ubuntu 14 Touch and Ubuntu 14 Studio.
You’ll need to be a Ubuntu 12.04 user to run the server, but there are several Ubuntu 14 Ubuntu Server 14.10 or 15 packages that work with Ubuntu 12 or 15.
These include: Ubuntu 14 Unity 14.14.3 Ubuntu 14 GNOME 14.12 Ubuntu 14 LTS 14.11 Ubuntu 14 MATE 14.13 Ubuntu 14 Xenial Xerus 14.09.4 Ubuntu 14 Xubuntu 14.08.2 Ubuntu 14 Pangola 14.05 Ubuntu 14 Cinnamon 14.01 Ubuntu 14 KDE Plasma 14.06 Ubuntu 14 Raspbian 14.07.2
